Even toppers find maths challenging, but they are still rather proficient at it.

The first step is to go over your class notes again and then double-check that you have every formula memorized.

I've observed many people who are brilliant with concepts but struggle to recollect formulas and hence do not perform well.

In the mains, 30% of the questions are formula-based. You can acquire them all at once if you have a good idea.

The error was that we assumed we were practicing well, which was not the case. You can easily get there if you practice hard.

The first step is to acquire a general understanding of everything.

2. Tips for revising class 11th:

I'll therefore separate it into maths, physics, and chemistry.

1.Read the ncert as much as you can for chemistry and take in everything. 

Chapters with a high weighting include those on the P block, hydrogen, chemical bonds, periodic table, atomic structure, and mole concept. Therefore, all you have to do is either review each day or set weekly targets.

As an example, I just allot myself 3 days to study 2 chapters from my class of 11 and revise them with my class of 12. Additionally, if you grow your list, you will be able to cover them. If you finish, you will feel like "yes, I have done."

 2. For math, review the formula, practise the questions you've flagged as crucial, and read the section of the theory you believe you might have forgotten.

 

3. I personally used to read HC Verma's solved cases and some of its principles for review in physics. I therefore corrected my formula using the questions in this and also revised the principles. 

Physics is another subject that requires a lot of reading.

You can also test your skills by completing the back exercises problems, particularly the last 10 since they are excellent.

Additionally, if you have written brief notes, go over them.

And one thing I'll recommend is watching Ashish Arora sir's revision checklist for jee mains. I believe this would be extremely helpful for you. You should also take brief notes of what he says there. Very helpful.

3. How many questions you should solve in order to revise a chapter:

The first step is to review your notes and examples if you have forgotten anything before moving on to the subject.

After that, you should first complete 10 to 15 simple problems to regain grasp of the subject.

Practise a single concept at a moderate level after that, then go on to a more difficult level to practise using multiple concepts.

Therefore, it shouldn't matter whether you're understanding the material or having trouble with it. Look for a reason, such as the fact that you are unsure of the notion or that you do know it. Clarify it first, then practice. 

 

Imagine you are learning about atomic structure in chemistry. Do one or two problems involving the Einstein equation, the photoelectric effect, the Bohr conditions, a few inquiries involving the de Broglie equation, and issues pertaining to quantum theory.

The idea should be that you have taken care of everything you can.

Don't solve problems that you can already solve repeatedly.

4. Quick revision for jee mains:

I'm telling you, practice exams are right now your best buddies.

Work on your mistakes after solving mocks and then provide mocks again.

As in the previous two months, provide a weekly mock exam so you can review the entire week in which you are deficient.

Review with brief notes and present it as you would for a real JEE on the day of the mock test.

Marks don't matter at all... Simply ask yourself, "Did I give my best?" If the answer is yes, continue; the important thing is how much effort you are actually putting in.

First, attempt to remember whether or not there is something that is still in mind.

If so, revising class notes is the best course of action.

Create some simpler problems after that; if you can't finish them all at once, it's okay to finish them another day.

Avoid saying something like, "I have to do it today only." No, make every effort. Set a goal for a period of two to three days and adhere to it rather than rushing through everything, which will result in gaps and confusion.

Read the notes, then work through the examples in class before tackling the worksheet challenge. I think you'll understand that.
