How to read Ncert:
So, from my experience, I have seen people just reading the text without much focus. First look up to 12th chemistry syllabus for better understanding. So my advice would be like:
1. Get your Ncert and find some peaceful place to study with concentration.
2. Now, pick up a chapter and familiarize yourself with it.
3. Now start topic by topic. Suppose you pick up the chapter Solutions and read things like solution, solvent, etc. Now, take a pause and ask yourself what the solution and solvent are. If you can answer what you have read, that means you have the things correct.
4. Move topic by topic, ensuring you get whatever you have read.
5. Now, coming to the important part that is highlighted. Highlight the important things that you think that it’s important.
6. I’m sure you might not get that chapter completely in one go, so make sure you read it after 1 or 2 days to complete it in depth.
7. Now, coming to the most important thing, that is the short notes. Most of you read the chapter and forget what was there in the chapter. So for this, the best thing is to take a paper and write down all the things on paper. All the essential formulas and concepts in one page. Now again, look into NCERT to be able to cover everything.
8. In this manner you will be able to complete the chapter.
9. Revise your short notes in a week.

1. You have your short notes ready now, revise from the short notes.

4. Practice some of the back exercise questions.

In order to score full marks in chemistry you have to prepare yourself to be ready with every concept you have covered.
Solve at least 5 Sample papers. The sample paper could be the one that CBSE releases every year, or it could be any other sample paper available on the internet.
Solve the sample paper in exam conditions; if you don’t know the answer, just think about how you would tackle that in the exam. Also, don’t look up to the solution while attempting the paper.
This will reduce the fear of making mistakes in the final exam. You will be able to maintain the time in your final exam. Make sure you are able to complete the exam 5 minutes before. In order to score full marks, you have to make sure that you have not made any mistakes in the exam.
Now, analyze what mistakes you have committed in the mock exam. Work on those mistakes. If you are not able to solve a particular kind of question read that concept again.
Last 15 days of preparation:
In the last 15 days, you should be revising the short notes on a daily basis. also, make sure you cover the entire syllabus because If you want to score full marks, it’s really important to cover all your chapters.
Give regular mock exams and solve the previous year's question papers within the time limit. Learn the concepts in which you feel a little low.
Take proper rest and take care of your health because it’s really important that you are mentally and physically fit for the exam. Don’t take stress.
Paper attempting tips:
First of all, be confident and make sure you don’t take any stress during exams. Reach the exam center 10 minutes earlier. Don’t discuss much with your friends.
If you can, take dark chocolate because it helps provide you with sufficient energy. Take your water bottle with you. Make sure you don’t panic at any stage.
When you get the question paper, take a look at it. In most exams, you are given time to read the question paper. So read the question paper and decide which question you are comfortable with. If allowed, mark those with an HB pencil. Start attempting those questions first. If you feel you are not able to write the answer, just skip that question until then so that you can solve other questions.
Make sure you attempt all the questions neat and cleanly, as it helps the examiner read your answer notebook. Also, if you have time, highlight the important points from your theory answer.
Attempt all the questions because you might think they are incorrect, but there might be a chance that the answer is correct.
Personal tips:
If you are targeting 90+ marks in class 12th Chemistry. Focus more on the topics with high weightage because that can fetch you more marks than others. So, pick up the chapters that are high in weightage.
Chapters like Coordination Compounds, Electrochemistry, Alcohols, and Solutions are really important, so make sure you have a good understanding of these chapters.
