IIT JEE Maths Study Tips For JEE Mains And Advanced

Welcome to you in this post where i will be writing my experience which helped me to get good marks in JEE Maths.

Well I will honestly say that maths is the difficult in all three and it's the important factor in deciding your rank in JEE Mains/Advanced.

How to cover jee maths syllabus in order to have good understanding?

So first thing is you all know that Math requires a lot of practice.

Start with a chapter you want to complete. Let's say I wants to study Quadratic equations. So this is how you can proceed.

1. Watch the lectures topic wise either from Youtube / Coaching classes. Make sure you are able to get the concept that you are reading.

2. Practice some easy question. If you are someone whose maths is not that good I would say practice Ncert questions topic wise.

3. Solve the easy questions from your coaching sheet or other resource that you are using. Make sure you don't look up to the solutions.

4. Proceed in this way and complete the chapter topic wise in let's say 5-6 days if the chapter is short.

5. Now after the chapter is completed, make short notes where you write all the formulas and important concepts.

6. Practice some medium level questions on each topic. If you are someone that have lot of time, make sure you try hard questions. Don't easily give up on questions, try hitting from different approaches.

7. Now see the previous year questions and figure out what were the most important concepts. Now your task is to solve more questions in those important concepts.
